If there was ever any doubt that Twitter is trying to make its platform friendlier to its users, the company has finally decided to give them the power to edit their own Tweets. The social network has been resisting the idea for quite some time, but it appears that the company has finally come around to the idea that allowing users to modify their posts is a good thing. According to a report from The New York Times, the new update will allow users to make minor tweaks to their messages without having to wait until later. The company says that the goal is to make the process of posting a Tweet less stressful, especially if you’re worried about someone else seeing what you’ve written. Of course, the company will have to do some work to make sure that the feature doesn’t get abused, but it sounds like it’ll be worth it.
