Since being out in LA for roughly a month now, I’ve made it a goal of mine to try and meet as many other passionate people as I can.  This included other filmmakers, directors, producers, and most importantly actors.  I say that because they are most important to me.  The missing piece to my filmmaking journey.

I have the ideas, I have the shot list, and I have the equipment needed to get the job done.  I merely need the talent to help push my projects along.  So while scrolling through Eventbrite one day, I came across a rather interesting post.  A local creative collective called MTS Devepement was hosting a Make A Film In A Day event that immediately caught my attention.  The mission of the event was to help professionals and non-professionals master their craft together.

In a recent Vlog I went into the detail of the event.

I’ll be honest, I was not very happy with the final product.  So I will not post the full video.  However, I did get a chance to show off some of my acting.

All in all, I would recommend this type of event for anyone looking to gain more experience, or to add more legitimate connect to their reel.  However, fair warning, unless you’re the leader of the project, it may not turn out the way you want.
